| Ran the Prefootlocker race at AF High school. It was super cold, although apparently not as cold as last year. I think my nose was running faster than I was. I didn't feel very mentally focused during the race so I pulled off a pretty slow time. After the race I still had 6 more miles to run, but I waited until after I went a got new Peg 32's which I couldn't be happier with.

| So we went for a long distance recovery pace run today. It started out just fine and then all heck broke lose. Long story short someone started a whipping war with our shirts and it just kinda escalated from there. i ended up with some pretty narley welts but as the great JFK once said, "Ask not what pain your teammates can give to you, ask what pain you can give to your teammates" or something like that. Eventually we all called a truce and went on with our run. Every now and again you have those runs that remind you how much you love this sport. Usually those runs take you places you didn't even know were there and more often then not put you over mileage. But whats a distance run without a little trail blazing, trespassing and some welts just for good measure. Shout out to Mike for the one that's still visible 5 hours later.

| Our loop was pretty much perfect this time, almost exactly what we needed, but I guess if you try enough of 'em you’re bound to get a good one once in a while.

| Ladders up the goalie today. One of life's great mysteries: Why is it called "the goalie"? Kind of a cool experience at the end. So we had just peaked the hill on the 300 of our last set and I hear someone coming up on my shoulder. Then I hear this voice in my ear that says "T Fuller!" and I wasn't going to let Thomas pass me so we both sprinted to the end. Its great to have teammates that push you like that. That kid is faster than he thinks, he's gonna have some fast races coming up. Shout out to Smith's for the free bottles of heaven.

| Pretty sweet run today went and checked out some new trails up by Traverse mountain. Other tahn that not a lot to say about this one, just miles of trail, crisp mountain air, and apodcast to listen to on the way, dont get much better than that.

| Low-distance recovery run today. First time all year that we've finished the run before school got out. Its amazing what can happen when you leave without standing around for 20 minutes.

| ok so about the extra 0.75 on this one... So that was me trying to make a loop in an area I knew nothing about, ended up just having to go back the way we came. Moral of the story: don't try to make loops if you know nothing about where the roads go, that and when Ryan says we should turn around after hitting 3 miles LISTEN TO HIM

| Ok so this was an interesting run, I had to go home and pack for my flight right after school so I didn't have time to stick around for practice. So what I did was I ran 4 miles during Skytime and 4 miles during lunch. i had to run faster than usual to get all the miles in and I probably looked crazy walking into class wearing running tights, but hey it was fun so who cares.

| Got to do my run back in good old Cali! I was out there fro the weekend to do my eagle project so I got to run with one of my friends from XC at Hart. Hart also got a brand new track that they've been needing pretty bad, the old one literally ahd holes in it. The boys XC team was already done for the season, but the girls were running at CIF finals the next day so they were at the track finishing up a workout when I was there. It was super cool to see some of my old teammates I hadn't seen them in 5 months but it felt like a year

| Recover pace, low mileage not much to say about this one... Aside from the few snowballs that got tosed around. It didn't end up in a full blown war though. Funny how there WASNT a war on the day Mike was biking, wonder how that happened.

| Ran the turkey run for speed today which was super fun. Had to pause in the middle of the rest of my run to go and take a math test. My Peg 32's hit 100 miles today! They grow up so fast *sniff sniff*
